Our students are our future: they will be our work force, our leaders, and our conscientious citizens. New education reforms in our state are designed to help students connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. The goal: to prepare them for post-secondary education and long-term career goals—and ultimately, to enable them and our businesses to succeed in a global marketplace.
Stefan Pryor, Connecticut Commissioner of Education, will join us to speak about the goal of this and other education reform programs and the important role of the local business community. He will be joined by Diana Roberge-Wentzell, the state’s new Chief Academic Officer.
