Tomorrow's Trees Saves Kitty after 7 Days

Montville based tree service, Tomorrow's Trees, received a call last night from a distraught Norwich family whose cat Sasha had been stuck up in a tree since last Friday.  After the family called the fire department and other local tree services who could not help or never returned their calls, Tomorrow’s Trees got the call and couldn't say no.  Knowing it had been almost 7 days, the owner of Tomorrow’s Trees, Richard Cullen knew the kitty probably didn’t have much time left.

Around 8pm, knowing the sun was setting, he started the 75 foot climb to the almost very top of a large Hickory.  Hearing the scared cries from Sasha, he slowly approached her while trying to calm her so she wouldn’t climb any higher or lose her tired grip. After almost an hour and a couple scary moments, he finally was able to grab her and get her safely into his satchel so he could make his descent back to safe grounds.

The family was overjoyed and let Rich know that Sasha ran straight to her food and water as soon as she was brought inside.  They don’t know what scared her into the tree in the first place but the family said Sasha will be on house arrest for a while.
