Any word on where the baby's mom was ?
tamarya April 18, 2014 at 09:04 pm
This is what happens when we don't teach teenagers in high school to grow up and be adults. TheyRead More turn into their 20's and have kids and treat their kids the way they treated other classmates in school. Time these people grow up. Starting at 16 you are not a baby and definatly at 24 you are not.

This isn't about how much CEOs make as it is about how much the average worker does NOT. Sure, aRead More CEO's life is stressful, but so is the average worker's...I don't see how that justifies a salary that could provide a lifetime of support for hundreds of families.

Richard Poulton, the top 3 state employees’ salaries are UNCONN coaches. So the heads ofRead More Departments (salaries) I listed have to be way lower than the top ten CT State employees (coaches) salary list you posted for 2013. That speaks volumes as to what are the priorities in CT state government. Thank you Richard for taking the time to research the salaries.

It's understandable to want to die on your own terms but suicide can always and is somewhat always aRead More bit selfish. There is Hospice for people who are terminally ill that want to die with dignity in their own home on their terms. He wasn't physically ill. He wanted to cash his chips in while he was well. Typically people who plan suicides like this start giving their belongings away. He made sure his documents were in order. I still feel sorry for the people who had to walk in on him seeing him dead like that. It's not easy, no matter how he wanted it. It is also sad for the friends who probably wonder if there was something they could have done to save him. He left a straightforward note and maybe to his friends that is enough, but probably not to all. He seemed to have lost the desire to live a little longer at least until he started to get ill. He could have traveled, etc. I would be surprised if he didn't have depression. People don't typically commit suicide if they're not depressed, or manic if they're bipolar.

Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep. I am the thousand winds thatRead More blow. I am the diamond glint in the snow. I am the sunlight on the ripened grain. I am the autumn's gentle rain. When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not die.

We need bomb-sniffing police dogs or military dogs. We also need to make the FBI accountable forRead More their failure to follow up on Russian warnings that Tamerlan Tsarnaeyev was being radicalized. The real jihadist in the family was the Tsarnaeyev's brothers' mother. The Russians knew that but didn't send the video proving it to the FBI. Even so, they told the FBI enough that they should have been on their trail, and the FBI blew it. And why weren't they on top of the former Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan who shot to death three non-Jews in an anti-semitic attempt to kill Jews in Overland Park? Why do we allow so much surveillance of citizens when the results are so disappointing? It's not like the FBI is getting the job done. They miss a lot of really big, obvious targets.
