As an Eagle Scout myself, I don't think this article gives…Read More justice to the amount of work Mr. Florio has undoubtedly undertaken to make it this far in his scouting career. To be prepared to pass an Eagle Board of Review at the age of 16, takes a lot of work and dedication. I would liked to have heard more about his scouting career, and exactly how this project will help the community. Even how the flag disposal process is supposed to be handled could have been delved into more, to educate the community, which, as Mr. Florio states, is an area many people are not aware of.

I also wanted to mention that Nancy Patterson of the CT Humane Society has made numerous donations of cat and dog food to help keep the resident animals happy.
