Steve I hope this gets to you in time. Don't go on that egg hunt! Apparently you have never seen anRead More Easter egg hunt before. After the egg hunt starting cannon roars, hundreds of undisciplined kids and hooligans rush the field grabbing for everything they can find. Heaven forbid you find and pick up an egg, they will be all over you. You'll be lucky to keep your shoes. Suggest that you and Peaches clutch your valuables and head for the exits ASAP. And by the way do you realize that your magic hat is changing color. Is it due to a natural phenomenon? No one could own that many hats.

'Lincoln' presents a specific scene about a key historical vote. Inaccurately. That much all seem toRead More agree upon. When it came to a vote in Congress, Connecticut made the right choice. And should be portrayed accurately regarding the vote. I agree with Zembik, the spokesperson for Rep. Courtney, that there is a real issue here. This scene needs to be amended in the DVD version.

It's hard to imagine a time when politicians cared less about towing the party line and more aboutRead More the good of the people. Good luck on this Joe. Neither Hollywood nor Washington have cared much about facts lately.

Audrey Fitting January 8, 2013 at 01:13 am
My story is similar to yours Carrie. At age 65, i decided i wanted to paint. For Christmas that yearRead More my children bought me everything from Blick in Plainville. I began with acrylics because my daughter told me i am the impatient type and it would dry quicker. Two days after Christmas I had finished my first Amish painting, my son said, mom, how did you know how to do that? Just like you, I was ready. I recently had a month long art show at the Atwater Memorial Library, and it was very rewarding to hear people's comments, so positive.Best of luck. Taking on a canvas that big is a real challenge. I have a 24X36 waiting for me to start my magic, but it hasn't come yer. Bless you, and sorry for your losses, but you can lose yourself with a painbrush in your hand, this I know. Audrey
