The Tantaquidgeon Museum, located on the Norwich New London Turnpike, was founded in 1931 by John, Harold and Gladys Tantaquidgeon. Family-owned and -operated, this modest stone building houses treasured Native American artifacts that represent the Mohegan way of life. Group tours are available by appointment only, admission is free and donations are accepted. The museum is open April through October.
