Mohegan Sun Casino

<p>The Mohegan Sun Casino came to life in 1996. It is owned and operated by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut.</p> <p>The Mohegans began as the Wolf clan of the Delaware tribe, in upstate New York. The Wolf clan left the main tribe, made a new home in Connecticut and became the Mohegan tribe. </p> <p>Mohegan Sun has three casinos, along with 1,200 hotel rooms, 40 restaurants, a 130,000-square-foot retail area and a variety of entertainment venues. The gaming area is more than 300,000-square-feet.</p> <p>There is also a 20,000-square-foot spa, a 10,000-square-foot indoor pool, a top-notch business center and an indoor waterfall.</p>
