Songs for Syria
Friday, 6 p.m. - Songs for Syria is a pasta dinner fundraiser for UNICEF's Syrian Aid fund. There will be good food and live music from local artists. The event will be held in the dining hall at Niantic Community Church starting at 6 p.m. Admission is $5 a person. Groups of five and larger get five dollars off admission.

Cookies and a Movie
Saturday, 2 p.m. - Join Alyssa Grayson, a USFWS Volunteer and Junior Advisor for the Wolf Watchers Coalition, as everyone gets up close and personal with wolves. Participants will be watching “Balto” and then will be able to design their own wolf cookies. This program is family friendly and all ages are welcome.

A Night of Comedy

Saturday, 6 p.m. - Waterford East Lyme Animal Control will present the 3rd Annual night of Comedy on Saturday. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door (if available). Comedian Dave Reilly with Funny Guy Productions will be there for a night of comedy and fun. There will be silent auctions, merchandise sales, and a cash bar and appetizers will also be available. All of the proceeds will benefit the Waterford East Lyme Animal Control New Building Fund.

"Tis the Season" A Holiday Art Show Opening
Saturday, 6 p.m. - Studio 33 Art and Frame Gallery is presenting an eclectic collection of small works by a large group of talented local artists. ‘Tis the Season’ holiday show encompasses a wide spectrum of media which are sure to please. The show runs from Nov. 21 through Jan. The opening reception is Saturday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served. All are welcome. International Prizewinning Organist Katelyn Emerson in Recital
Sunday, 4 p.m. - The New London County Chapter of the American Guild of Organists presents young international prizewinning organist, Katelyn Emerson in recital. The recital is free and open to the public. The youngest of seven finalists, Emerson received the title of Laureate and was awarded Third Place among other prizes in the VIII Mikael Tariverdiev International Organ Competition held in Kaliningrad, Russia. She won the Special Prize of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Society and will make her Russian concertizing debut in Krasnoyarsk, Russia in 2014. Winner of the 2011 Region V American Guild of Organists AGO/Quimby Regional Competition for Young Organists in Lexington Kentucky, Ms. Emerson performed as a “Rising Star” at the AGO National Competition in Nashville, TN during the summer of 2012. She also won first place in the L. Cameron Johnson Memorial Competition for High School Organists in 2010 and received the 2013 M. Louise Miller Scholarship.
