Montville Police Participate In Special Olympics Torch Run

Six Montville police officers ran in the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run on Wednesday.

The Connecticut Special Olympics 2012 Law Enforcement Torch Run is happening this week - Wednesday through Friday - and on Wednesday Montville police joined in.

Robin Salvatore, president of the Montville Police Union, and the Town Captain for the Torch Run, emailed Patch these photos of the town team.

Doing the running were: Detective Thomas Occhialini, Officer Karen Moorehead, Officer Michael Pierce, Officer Matthew Orr, Officer Joseph Kondash and Dispatcher Jonathan Leonard.

Helping with traffic and logistics were: Officer Ryan Spring, Sgt. Matthew Northrop, Detective David Radford and Officer Robert Bedard.
