The Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut is accepting nominations now for the Citizen of the Year award.
This honor is given for outstanding contributions to the civic and business community. No candidate will be considered who is paid to perform the services for which he or she was nominated, unless the contribution encompassed altruism toward the community far beyond the dictates of the job.
This award will be presented at the annual celebration in April/May 2012. Nominations are due 4 p.m. January 17. Click here for information or see the pdf in the photo box.
