Today's torrential rain has forced the Oakdale Fire Department to cancel the Haunted Hayride that was scheduled for tonight.
Saturday's hayride is up in the air at this point, as well, said Chief Gary Murphy. The mud will make it tough for the horses and the kids from the Montville High School and East Lyme drama clubs.
