Blood Donations Needed In Connecticut

Due to a low supply of blood in Connecticut, the American Red Cross has announced an emergency plea for donations, WTNH is reporting.

According to the article, the organization seeks donations of all blood types but is particularly in need of O positive, O negative, B negative and A negative.

  • Friday, June 29 - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London
  • Thursday, July 5 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Coca-Cola Bottling of S.E. New Engand in Waterford
  • Friday, July 6 - 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich
  • Monday, July 9 - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Regional Multicultural Magnet School in New London
  • Friday, July 13 - 1 to 6 p.m. at the Waterford Town Hall in Waterford
  • Saturday, July 14 - 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Oakdale Fire Department in Oakdale
