An Afternoon of Art in Norwich

The Event Showcases Art Honoring Cancer Patients and Their Journeys, and Raises Funds for the ECHO Cancer Foundation

The Spa at Norwich Inn will be hosting a special event from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. May 22 to benefit an organization that has touched so many lives in the communities of Eastern Connecticut, including Montville and Uncasville: The ECHO Cancer Foundation.

Together with ECHO, we are co-sponsoring "An Afternoon of Art, "a display of 25 pieces of art from a Lilly Pharmaceuticals touring exhibition titled "Oncology on Canvas: Expressions of a Cancer Journey."

The art is an inspirational display honoring the journeys people face when confronted by a cancer diagnosis and treatment. There also will be a display of works donated by local artists. Those works will be sold during a silent auction, with proceeds benefitting the foundation.
