Tyl's Water Shows High Chloride Levels

Elevated levels of chloride not a heath hazard, unless on low-sodium diet

A report from Tyl Middle School shows the school's well has an elevated level of chloride, The Bulletin reported.

The elevated level of chloride is not a health hazard, Montville School Superintendent Pamela Aubin told The Bulletin, except to someone on a low-sodium diet.

Aubin said in the article that the extra chloride comes salting the roads, and that the levels should return to normal in about three months.
