Administrators at Leonard J. Tyl Middle School “need your help.”
“We need your help to find out what you like about our school and how we can make it better,” the preface to a survey on school climate reads. “Please answer the questions below. Do not put your name on this survey. There are no right or wrong answers. We hope that you feel comfortable to answer the questions honestly and show how you really feel about your child's school.”
The questions include ones about how safe parents think their kids are at Tyl, if kids have been bullied, if social media has been a problem and do parents and students feel comfortable sharing my thoughts and ideas at Tyl.
