Two Local Students Selected For Dime Bank Scholarship

Dime Bank has announced that it has selected 11 area students to receive scholarships, including one student from and another from .

The bank awarded Emma Theiler of St. Bernard School and Wai Shing Wong of Montville High School with scholarships at a ceremony held on June 13 in Norwich, the press release says.

According to the release, scholarships were awarded based on academic excellence, community involvement, extracurricular activities and financial need.

“We are proud to be able to provide scholarships to these outstanding students. Their involvement in the community; while maintaining high academic standards is impressive," Nick Caplanson, President and Chief Executive Officer, said in the release.
