Stations of the Cross at St. Bernard

The Event Is Open to the Public, and Begins at 10 Thursday

A fire alarm Wednesday afternoon interrupted a rehearsal of a Living Stations of the Cross at St. Bernard School and brought the crew and cast - many shoeless - into the cold, rainy parking lot.

Kyle Bean, 17, a senior, will be playing Jesus. Clad in the merest of garments, he brought a banana box out with him, and stood or knelt on it to keep his feet off the pavement.

Thomas Engel, 18, a guard, wore more clothing.

The Living Stations of the Cross takes place at 10 in the auditorium, and is open to the public.
