Oakdale’s Mark Kozlowski Receives Prestigious Sports Award

Kozlowski also receives high honors for academic performance at Pomfret School

Mark Kozlowski of Oakdale was recently recognized by coaches and teammates at Pomfret School for an outstanding season in varsity soccer. Mark, a member of the Pomfret class of 2014, was awarded the G.J. Wood Soccer Bowl. It is to honor Coach Grant Wood and the characteristics he tried to instill in his eleven years as varsity and junior varsity soccer coach at Pomfret School. This award is given to the player whose intensity, pride, sportsmanship and skill, both on and off the field, elevated the play of the rest of the team.

And Mark was also named to High Honor Roll at Pomfret School.  A student earns Honors with a 3.0 average and no grade below a "B-. Mark, a member of the class of 2014, earned the distinction of High Honors with a 3.5 average and no grade below a B-.
