UPDATED: Oakdale Elementary Get Lesson On Dealing With Bullies [VIDEO]
Presentation utilized props, multi-media and live characters to bring the message to kids
At Oakdale Elementary School the recent anti-bullying assembly, ‘Stand Up - Step In!’ presenter David Jack took students through a multi-media show which included music, movement, visual characters, dance, interactive game show and a generous helping of fun to help bring home his important anti-bullying message.
The presentation utilized humor, audience participation and a high-tech virtual character named Cozmo, who at once entertained the students while teaching them how to identify the players in a bullying episode and more importantly, how they should deal with it. They learned how to recognize situations where bullying will likely occur and how to best avoid those situations.
