'Montville Marvels' at These Bright, Talented and Committed Students, Educators

The Montville BOE acknowledged the following students and educators for tutoring, diligence, compassion and outstanding performance.



  1. Mohegan School: For spending time during the summer tutoring a first grade student: Gaybchoe Lhamo. For helping a kindergarten friend: Abbey Lumbra.

Oakdale School: For his diligence and fortitude, which has led to his academic accomplishments: Joseph Barberi. For reaching the advanced levels on the CMT in grade 3 and in grade 4: Jared Houle, Taevis Kolz, Michaela Welles, and Sydney Winakor.

Dr. Charles E. Murphy School: For her outstanding singing performance at the 2nd Annual New London Talent Show: Samantha Latham. For recognition by the CT Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance of an Outstanding Program Award for his "Shoe Typing Olympics": Lou Rubino.
