science teacher Kimberly Estep is one of three teachers from Connecticut selected for a fellowship for National Science Teachers Association for new science teachers, The Day reported.
According to the article, the year-long program "is designed to help promote quality science teaching, enhance teacher confidence, classroom excellence and improve teacher content knowledge."

Joining Estep at the program will be Julia Cronin, of Ledyard who teaches at the Integrated Day Charter School, and Karen Kaestle of The Morgan School in Clinton.
