Lessons in Learning From Oakdale School

Because we celebrate our kids and the learning going on in our schools, here's another example of how well students are learning, combining creativity with the good old fashioned three R's - in this case it's 'Rithmetic!

Second grade students each created an egg and wrote addition and subtraction stories at home.

In class, they wrote a story using their egg character as the main character. For the story, "The Easter Bunny Got Sick", the students had their character take over the job, but they were not sure what to do. They were told to write a story about what happened that day.
