Kindergartners Take First School Bus Ride

Following a safety video and question and answer session with their bus driver June Piscitelli, a small but excited group of Kindergarten students got on board, figuratively and literally Monday morning, as some of the youngest Montville students said hello to their school careers.

After the children were on the school bus and it rolled off for the short test run -- designed to make kids feel more comfortable and safe on the first day of school -- a sob or two from nearby waving parents could be heard.
