Free Vacation Week Program Open To Students

Students who sign up are required to attend both sessions

 

LEARN has announced that it is holding free enrichment programs during April and June.

According to LEARN's announcement in The Day, the program will be held April 9 to 13 and June 25 to 29. Students who sign up must attend both sessions.

SummerFest - The Rainforest Reigns! is an Inter-District Grant Learning Enrichment Program for students in grades 3 to 5 that studies the rainforest. Students will also visit Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo.

According to the registration form, program will be held daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through LEARN at the former Southwest School in Waterford and is funded by the Connecticut Department of Education.

The announcement in The Day says that limited transportation from Stonington, Mystic, Groton, Ledyard, Montville, Norwich and New London will be available.
