Board Votes to Cut Number of School Days, Shortens Calendar

The board voted to reduce school days from 182 to 180, the number of school days required by state law. Unless of course we have another snow day, then all bets are off!

At its regular meeting Tuesday, the Montville Board of Education voted to reduce the number of students days in the 2012-13 school calendar from 182 days to 180 days.

This means, barring another snow day (fingers crossed), the last day of school for students will be Thursday, June 20 and it will be a half day.
