Please keep informed about the next tropical storm / hurricane that could impact the east coast next week. We will not be completely recovered from Irene. There will be alot of lessons learned by all and room for improvement. We as a society think the government will take care or us, thinking needs to change where you should be responsible for you and your family. If you need assitance it should be reported before the storm. I would like to thank all of the agencies that spent numerous hours helping others. The Red Cross was a great help with emergency and short term sheltering. Thank you East Lyme for opening the short term regional shelter.
