It is spring and everyone wants to have a camp fire and burn brush and other things. Camp fires are legal when you burn clean wood with no construction debris, camp fire should be contained in a fire pit less than 3 feet in diameter.
If you own a single family property you can get a permit to burn brush and garden debris, permits can be obtained at Fire Marshal Office. Additional information is available.
Illegal burning causes complaints and a response from the fire department which costs money. Infraction tickets for illegal burning can be issued. Please follow the rules for everyones safety please!!!
