FEMA Money Coming to Connecticut

Federal Money Allocated by FEMA for Connecticut

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has out aside $ 1,046,295 for reimbursements for Cities and Towns from the big snow storm of January 11-12, 2011. The Town of Montville and the Board of Education filed an application for reimbursement, we have met with our FEMA representative and our finalizing the paperwork so we can get money back. The Federal Government does not usually provide money for snow removal but this storm was historic as well as our entire winter. Hoping for less snow in 2012 !
