Here are the municipal events scheduled for the coming week:

Monday, May 7

The WPCA has scheduled a meeting for 7 p.m. in the Town Council Chamber. On the agenda are presentations about solar panels at the treatment plant, and a report on anerobic digesting.

Tuesday, May 8

The Planning & Zoning Commission has scheduled a meeting for 7 p.m. in the Town Council chamber.

The agenda includes public hearings on special permit applications from Beech Hill Partners and Bruce Williams for two-family homes on Waters Drive and a site-plan rview application for a used car dealer and repair shope at 904 Norwich-New London Turnpike. Thursday, May 10

The Youth Advisory Board is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. in the Montville Youth Center.

The Inland Wetlands Commission has scheduled two special site walks. The first, at 6 p.m., is at 1360 Route 32, and pertains to an application for the construction of a 120-room hotel. The second is at 6:30 p.m., at 2268-2284 Route 32, and 16-18 Gallivan Lane, regarding an application for the construction of a nightclub and restaurant.

The Gardner Lake Authority is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in Salem Town Hall, 270 Hartford Road, Salem.

Saturday, May 12

The nonprofit tag sale at Fair Oaks School is to benefit the Montville Youth Wrestling Team. The sale takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
