What Can Connecticut Leaders Do About Gun Violence?

Today US Senators Murphy and Blumenthal will gather together a range of Connecticut leaders to talk about reducing gun violence in America.

U.S. Senators Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal will hold a roundtable discussion in Hartford’s North End today at 1 p.m. on reducing gun violence in America. Joining them will be state and local elected officials, local law enforcement representatives and faith and community leaders to help begin what they are calling "a larger conversation on possible federal responses to the tragic gun violence from Newtown to cities and towns across Connecticut and the country."

The session will be at Parker Memorial Community Center, 2621 Main Street, Hartford.

Where do you think this conversation should begin, and what should it entail in order to reduce gun violence in Connecticut and around the nation? Please add your thoughts in the comments.
