There are not many meetings scheduled for Montville this week

Sunday, Dec. 4

  • The Holiday Parade starts at 5 p.m., near the Montville/Waterford line on Route 32, and ends at Town Hall, where the Christmas tree will be lighted and awards given. Floats and equipment must be at the Church & Allen Funeral Home parking lot by 4 p.m.

Monday, Dec. 5

  • The Water Pollution Control Authority is scheduled to hold its regular monthly meeing at 7 p.m. in the Town Council chamber.On the agenda is an update on the Maple Avenue pump station, an update on the facilities study and an executive session to discuss the employment contract of WPCA Administrator Brian Lynch.

Wednesday, Dec. 7

  • The Zoning Board of Appeals is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. in the Town Council chamber.

Thursday, Dec. 8

  • The Montville Youth Advistory Board meeting scheduled for this date has been postponed to Thursday, Dec. 15. That meeting will be the group's holiday gathering, and will take place at 6 p.m. at The Spa at Norwich Inn.
