Town Council Schedules Special Meeting
WPCA, Rand-Whitney Agreement Is Meeting's Focus
The Town Council has scheduled a special meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Town Council chamber to discuss two memoranda of understading between the town and Rand Whitney Corporatin.
One MOU concerns a change in the billing relationship of the town and the company. If the agreement is accepted, Rand Whitney will be billed as a regular commercial customer.
The second agreement requires the town to explore new options for wastewater treatment.

The WPCA and Rand Whitney arrived at these agreements in a recent meeting. If the MOUs are signed, it will bring an end to years of litigation. To read more on the 'historic' agreement, click here.
