Recycling saves money

The more items in your waste stream that you recycle, the less money our town spends in disposal fees. Not only does recycling save money, sometimes, depending on the market for recyclable materials, it actually makes money. Wow, recycling saves money and makes money, sounds like a win win!

Here’s How:

  • Place all clean, recyclable materials in a container designated for recycling, paper and cardboard may be bundled.
  • Recycle all plastic containers with the number 1-7 in a recycle symbol.
  • All glass jars and bottles plus all paper, mail, magazines, books, paperboxes, and cardboard.

Place items on the curbside on your designated day for pickup.
