Time for Montville Dogs to Get Their License!

Connecticut residents license their dogs in June.

It's that time again! Connecticut dogs must be licensed between June 1st and June 30th and that early renewals are not permitted. Connecticut dog laws mandate that dogs older than six months this June must be licensed or their licenses must be renewed next in June at the Town Clerk's office. 

It costs $18 to licence each in tact dog and $8 for each of your spayed or neutered dogs.

The Montville Town Clerks' Office wants residents to save time by registering their dogs by mail. The website says: 
SAVE TIME! Register by mail! Here is the procedure for registering by mail:
1.  Fill out and enclose the form. Click Here to view and print the form.
2.  Make checks payable to: TOWN CLERK, MONTVILLE
3.  Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for return of tag & license.
4.  Enclose the renewal notice.
5.  Enclose proof of rabies vaccination (NOT THE TAG).  Required only if reminder notice indicates the rabies certificate has EXPIRED.
6.  Enclose Certificate of Spaying/Neutering.  Required only if the reminder does NOT indicate S or N.
7.  Mail to: Montville Town Clerk, 310 Norwich-New London Tpke., Uncasville, CT 06382
