Public Safety Commission, Public Safety Building Commission and More Schedule Meetings

Monday, Aug. 22

The Public Safety Commission holds its regular monthly meeting on Monday at 7 p.m. in the Town Council chamber in Montville Town Hall.

On the agenda is a discussion on the progress of the public safety building, a discussion of the fire truck purchase for the Oakdale Fire Department, and progress on the Public Safety Plan.

Tuesday, Aug. 23

The Planning and Zoning Commission has scheduled its regular monthly meeting for Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the council chamber in town hall.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

The Public Works/Solid Waste Standing Committee has scheduled a meeting for Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in Room 102 of town hall. The agenda includes updates of and discussions on the re-use/free items and tag sales program, the Adopt-a-Road program, road repairs and chip sealing/paving, the Pay as You Throw trash idea and more. The Public Safety Building Committee has scheduled a meeting for 6 p.m. Thursday in Room 203 of town hall.

Saturday, Aug. 27

The nonprofit tag sale at Fair Oaks School, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., is to benefit Cub Scout Pack 67.
