POLL: Are You Going to the Town Meeting?
It's tonight, at 7 p.m., in the auditorium of Montville High School
The Montville Town Council has scheduled a special town meeting tonight at 7 p.m. in the Montville High School auditorium, to "consider and act on the petition to overrule Resolution 2012-11, and the ordinance enacted thereby titled 'Ordinance Regarding the Authority and Duties of the Water and Sewer Commission.'"
would put control of WPCA personnel and the WPCA's budget into the hands of the Water and Sewer Commisson.
protesting the ordinance has resulted in the special town meeting scheduled for tonight. At the meeting, citizens will be able to speak about the ordinance, and to vote on overturning it.
