Plans For Colchester DOT Building Would Replace Montville Facility

The State Department of Transportation has announced plans to build an $18M building in Colchester, The Bulletin reports

 

The Bulletin is reporting that the state's plans to build a new Department of Transportation building in Colchester would replace facilities in Montville, Haddam and Lisbon.

According to the article, the plan is to construct an $18 million building--62,580 square feet.

Construction is expected to begin near the end of August or beginning of April and will last about two years, The Bulletin says.

The new Colchester building, which the article says will be situated on 8.6 acres, will be used for the testing and repair of DOT equipment.
