Municipal Meetings This Week Sept. 17 - Sept. 21
The Tuesday Board of Education meeting agenda features a reception for Teacher of the Year Ellen Carenza and an a introduction of new staff.
The Housing Authority meets Tuesday Sept. 18 at 5 p.m. at Independence Village, 41 Milefski Drive. The agenda includes election of officers.
The Board of Education also meets Tuesday, but at 6 p.m. in the Montville High School library, 800 Old Colchester Road. The 2011-2012 annual report, Board goals for the upcoming school year and action on “re-opening” the contract between the school sand the Teamsters representing ‘”transportation,” are some of the items on the packed agenda.

On Wednesday at 6 p.m. the Parks & Recreation Commission Special Meeting will be held in Council Chambers in Montville Town Hall. Holiday parade planning, dogs on rec fields and reports are all on the agenda.
The Inland Wetlands Commission meets Thursday, at 7 p.m. at Montville Town Hall in Council Chambers; no agenda has been posted as of yet.
