Municipal Meetings This Week Sept. 10 to Sept. 14

A public hearing on the proposed Child Safety Zone is set for tonight at 6:30 p.m.

 

Busy municipal meeting week ahead, Montville. 

Monday there’s a Town Council public hearing at 6:30 on child safety zone, which includes restricting sex offenders from entering the so-called Child Safety Zones and a regular council meeting at 7 p.m. both in Council Chambers.  The regular meeting agenda includes committee reports and a vote on the Child Safety Zone.

On Tuesday, the Planning and Zoning meeting is set for 7 p.m. in Council Chambers. The agenda includes numerous action items and new business.

On Thursday the Montville Youth Advisory Board meets at 6 p.m. at the Montville Youth Center at 289 Norwich-New London Turnpike; the agenda incudes discussion of the Pancake Breakfast event and Lights on After School program.

Also on Thursday the Gardner Lake Authority meets at 7 p.m. at the Bozrah Senior Center 111 Bishops Road. There’s no posted agenda.
