UPDATED: Municipal Meetings, Tribal Cultural Boundary Hearing Slated

Town Council, WPCA and PZC all meet this week; Hearing set for Thursday

Monday June 11

The Town Council meets twice Monday at 6 and at 7. The earlier meeting includes two executive session agenda items; collective bargaining and a lawsuit – Mazzei versus Montville. The regular meeting, set for 7, has a crowded agenda with committee reports and a number of resolutions, primarily approving salaries and collective barraging agreements. But an executive session is also slated to discuss a “pending claim.”

The Water Pollution Control Authority special meeting of the water and sewer commission has a meeting set for Monday, as well, at 6 p.m. in the WPCA conference room. Employee policy and WPCA rules and procedures are being discussed.

Tuesday June 12

The Planning and Zoning Commission meets at 7 in Council Chambers to discuss, among other agenda items, a site plan for Montville Plaza.

Thursday June 14



The Youth Advisory Board meets at 6 p.m. at the Montville Youth Center at 289 Norwich-New London Turnpike.
