Montville Town Meetings this Week Nov. 5 - Nov. 9

Light on meetings save for WPCA, zoning, finance and youth advisory.

It’s funny how life just picks up and goes on. Routines suddenly disrupted soon become, well, routine again.  And so here we are. Municipal meetings happen. The town keeps on running and the perfunctory resumes.

Tonight at 7 in Council Chambers the regular Water Pollution Control Meeting is held and with it a two page agenda that includes reports from committee and the mayor and contract approvals.

The Finance Committee also meets today, at 5:30 in room 102, in Town Hall and on its agenda is included the continued discussion of a potential consolidation of town and school finance functions.

On Wednesday, the Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers with a single public hearing slated on a private garage variance and setback.

The Montville Youth Advisory Board meets Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Montville Youth Center at 289 Route 32 grant reports and holiday programming plans are among the items on the agenda.

The Gardner Lake Authority also meets Thursday, at 7 p.m. at Salem Town Hall, 270 Hartford Road, in Salem. There is no posted agenda.
