UPDATED: WPCA New Date, Montville Meetings This Week March 4 - March 7

Just heard from Brian Lynch. The meeting could not be held tonight since the agenda was not posted. The WPCA meeting will now be held Thursday, March 7 at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. The agenda is attached. 

Update at 8:50 a.m.: 

An agenda for the WPCA meeting was published on the town's website about 40 minutes ago. WPCA administrator Brian Lynch told Patch he's trying to get clarification from the Secretary of State to determine if the meeting can be held.

State law requires meeting agendas to be posted 24 hours in advance of a town meeting.

The town’s website shows a Water Pollution Control Authority meeting for today, Monday March 4 at 7 p.m. at Montville Town Hall in Council Chambers but there is no posted agenda.

Public Safety Commission, Special Meeting is set for today at 5:30 p.m. at the new Public Safety Building at 911 Norwich-New London Turnpike with essentially a single item agenda; a discussion of the Public Safety Plan with two opportunities for the public to weigh in.

The Board of Assessment Appeals meets Tuesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. at Montville Town Hall in room 203. The purpose is to hear appeals related to assessments of Real Estate, and Personal Property for the October 1, 2012 Grand List as well as the 2011 Supplemental Motor Vehicle assessments. Anyone that wanted t appeal assessments had to have filed the paperwork by Feb. 20. All hearings are by appointment today, Tuesday, March 5 at 6 p.m. as well as Wednesday, March 6 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, March 9 at 9 a.m.

There is a Finance Committee Special Meeting Tuesday March 5, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Montville Town Hall in room 203 to review the Montville Public Works department 2013-14 budget and discuss the 2013-2018 Capital Plan including funds allocated for Black Ash Road.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meeting scheduled for Wednesday March 6 at 7 p.m. has been canceled.

The Commission on Aging meets at Thursday March 7 at 10 a.m. at the Senior Center on 12 Maple Ave. with an agenda that includes an update on senior safety zones.
