UPDATE: EDC Canceled, Montville Meetings This Week March 18 - 21

The Economic Development Commission meeting has been canceled.

The Economic Development Commission is slated to meet today, Monday March 18 at 7 p.m., in Montville Town Hall room 203. But, as we seem to see very week of late with one or the other committee or commission, there is no posted agenda. And state law requires agendas be posted 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

The Public Safety Commission Special Meeting is set for today, Monday, March 18 at 5:30 p.m. at Montville Town Hall in room 102. The agenda includes a presentation from Mansfield Fire Administrator and continued discussion of Public Safety Plan.  

The Housing Authority meets Tuesday March 19 at 5 p.m. at Independence Village, 41 Milefski Drive in Uncasville. No agenda is as of yet posted.

Also Tuesday, March 19, there are three Board of Education meetings, two of which are committee meetings, Policy Committee at 5:15 in the Superintendents Small Conference Room at Montvile High School; no agenda yet. Also at 5:15 is the BOE Educational Evaluation Committee.

The BOE regular meeting is set for 6 p.m. with among myriad other items, approval of the proposed 2013-2014 budget.

On Wednesday March 20 at 6:30 p.m., the Parks & Recreation Commission meets in council chambers at Town Hall. There is as of yet no posted agenda.

Also Wednesday is a Board of Assessment Appeals Special Meeting set for 3:30 p.m. at Town Hall, room 203 to “discuss and take action” on the appeals heard last week. 

The Inland Wetlands Commission meets at 7 p.m. Thursday March 21 with an agenda that includes a permit approval and setting public hearing date for new wetland regulations.
