Tuesday, Jan. 8 the Planning & Zoning Commission meets at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers and its very light agenda includes just one action item: road acceptance for a subdivision.

Also Tuesday, the Board of Education holds a Special Meeting, which is actually the first of two budget forums this week created for the community to provide input on the 2013-2014 schools budget. The forum is slated for 5:30 p.m. at Montville High School in the library/media center.

How nice the wpca wants to pay back $500k to the town. While this is a great victory for us taxpayers you have to ask yourself why are the paying that much back? After all lynch said they gave little money, revenue is down and thier spending is out of control not to mention they are fighting an expensive lawsuit that even if they won will cost $109k plus to fight and if they lose could cost millions. Must be a political favor to help the current council.
