UPDATE: BOE, PSC and Cancellations; Montville Meetings This Week Jan. 28 - Feb. 1

A busy week ahead.

UPDATE:

The Town Administration/Rules & Procedures Standing Committee meeting has been canceled. 

Public Safety Commisison meeting, which was scheudled for 7 p.m. has also been canceled.

Monday Jan. 28 Montville meetings begin with a Board of Education Special Meeting to be held in the Montville High School, Superintendent’s Large Conference Room at 5 p.m. The Board’s single agenda item is an executive committee session on a personnel matter.

The Town Administration/Rules & Procedures Standing Committee meets Monday in room 203 in Town Hall at 5:30 p.m. Its agenda includes discussion on the per-Charter procedure for appointing people to town boards, commissions and committee, past practices on the mayor payout, a media police and a possible ordinance on health benefits for the Registrar of Voters.

And finally, Monday night at 7 p.m. the Public Safety Commission meets in Montville Town Hall, Council Chambers. The Commission’s packed agenda includes: reports from the Fire Marshal, Fire Departments, Police Department, Animal Control and Building Official and discussion on the Public Safety building, an update regarding the Public Safety Plan, the status of firefighter position and plenty more.

 

On Tuesday Jan. 29, the town Finance Committee has a posted meeting for 5:30 p.m. in room 203 of Montville Town Hall but as of Sunday, there was no posted agenda.

At 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1 at the Senior Center, 12 Maple Ave. in Uncasville, the Board of Education will hold a Special Meeting; its single agenda is a 2013-2014-budget discussion.
