Montville Meetings This Week Feb. 25 - Feb. 28

The Town Administration/Rules & Procedures Standing Committee meets today, Monday, Feb. 25 at 5:30 p.m. at Montville Town Hall in room 102. An agenda is posted and it includes a discussion about Council rules, specifically a rule that says the committee should discuss staff pay increases before they go to the council for a vote.

The Public Safety Commission meets tonight, Monday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. at Town Hall in Council Chambers. The full agenda includes monthly statistics reports and discussion on the Public Safety Plan, the status of firefighter position, an update on sergeant promotion, status of canine purchase and the police capital budget.

The Finance Committee holds a special meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. at Town Hall in room 203. The agenda includes a review of town department requests for the 2013-14 budget.

Planning and Zoning slated for 7 p.m. Tuesday has been canceled.

Public Works/Solid Waste Standing Committee meeting is Wednesday Feb. 27 at 5:30 p.m. Its agenda had not yet been posted on the town’s website by Sunday night.
