The Montville Town Council meets tonight, Monday Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers with a very full agenda including myriad personnel-related executive session items. But before the regular meeting is a Public Hearing at 6:30 p.m. on an ordinance regulating peddlers. The change that necessitated the hearing is the removal of the section about peddlers not being permitted to set up within a mile of a ‘permanent’ business, a bricks-and-mortar store.

The Planning & Zoning Commission meeting slated for 7 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 12 has been canceled.
