The Town Council holds its regular meeting, and two public hearings... the Board of Assessment Appeals starts its process.... and that's not all

Monday, April 9

The Montville Town Council has scheduled a public hearing on Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Town Council Chamber in Montville Town Hall on an ordinance adding property tax exemptions for veterans. The full agenda is in the photo box.

The council has scheduled its regular monthly meeting for 7 p.m. in the Town Council Chamber in Montville Town Hall. The agenda includes:

  •  An executive session for interviews for people who would like to serve on committees
  • The introduction of the mayor’s proposed budget and capital plan for the 2012-2103 fiscal year
  • Votes on resolutions, including the adoption of a property tax exemption for veterans, implementation of an increase to the building code permit fee schedule, the implementation of fire marshal fees.

Tuesday, April 10

The Planning & Zoning Commission has scheduled a meeting for 7 p.m. in the council chamber. The agenda includes an application for a site plan review for the renovation of a nonconforming house and garage at 904 Norwich-New London Turnpike into an office and garage for a used car dealer’s and repairer’s facility. The Board of Assessment Appeals will meet at 6 p.m. in Room 203 of Montville Town Hall.

Thursday, April 12

The Board of Assessment Appeals will meet at 6 p.m. in Room 102 of Montville Town Hall.

The Gardner Lake Authority has scheduled its regular monthly meeting for 7 p.m. in Room 203 of Montville Town Hall.

The Montville Youth Advisory Board has scheduled its regular monthly meeting for 6 p.m. in the Youth Center, 289 Norwich-New London Turnpike. The agenda includes discussions of Turn Off TV Week, the Pasta Dinner, Kick Butts Day and March Madness.

Saturday, April 14

The Board of Assessment Appeals will meet at 9 a.m. in Room 203 of Montville Town Hall.

The Montville Lions Club is holding the nonprofit tag sale at the Fair Oaks School, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
