Town Administrative Rules and Procedures Standing Committee

This is the regular monthly meeting of the Town Administration/Rules & Procedures Standing Committee. The group meets at 6 p.m., in Room 102 of Town Hall.

Standing committees are charged with gathering information to bring to the Town Council, and recommending action in specific areas.

The Montville Town Administration/Rules and Procedures Standing Committee meetings focus on two areas.

The Town Administration Standing Committee reviews wages, salaries and benefits of town employees. It also looks at fees town agencies charge, and discusses agencies' needs that are not discussed by any other committees.

The Rules and Procedures Standing Committee reviews rules and procedures of all town agencies, reviews new state legislation and recommends action when action is necessary, and from time to time, reviews the town charter to see if changes are needed.
