Daily Five: Wet Weather, School Shopping and Other School Stuff

1. Today’s weather is the opposite of Sunday; wet. We’re supposed to have showers on and off all day.

2. The Board of Education meets twice on Tuesday; a policy meeting and the regular meeting heading in to the 2012-2013 school year. Did I just type 2013? Where is it going?

3. One Montville Town Councilor has lodged an ethics complaint against another councilor. We’ll try and get to the bottom of that.

4. ?  The biggest ticket items are clothing and footwear, for sure. You can get away with some really good deals on school supplies (I got folders for 10 cents a piece, for example.) but sneakers? Come on. So the tax-free program this week will ease a bit of the pain at the register.
